Handwriting Deciphering & Recognition / Re: Latin lovers ;)

 Thank you, that's a blow!

I've attached a bigger section from the will. It was in English (thankfully) but the probate register is in Latin too.

Hi, can any kind person tell me if the date of 30 January 1732 refers to the death date, or something else thanks.

Also would you say the profession was milliner???

I will, many thanks  :)

I did wonder if it might be 1615 but couldn’t find a record for then either (as with 1619) but seemed a bit quick to have a contested will sorted.

No apology required, I’m extremely grateful for your input and many thanks for the licence transcription  :)

Handwriting Deciphering & Recognition / will of Henry Hobson
« on: Thursday 04 March 21 23:07 GMT (UK)  »
Hello Bookbox. You have recently helped me some deciphering. One was the will of Henry Hobson who died 7 April 1619. The will was contested but granted in the end. His wife, Elizabeth had married Ralph Bramhall. I have found a marriage bond for Ralph Bramhall and Elizabeth Hobson in 1616, 3 years before Henry died!  Does this bond give any clue. Can you help? Thanks.

That's amazing! Thank you so much, and for going the extra mile re Ann and Ralph Bradshaw. I believe Ann was Henry's sister.

Those older documents and the latin ones, are impossible! Except for geniuses  :-*

Bookbox kindly unravelled a will for me, thankyou. On pages 3 and 4 there is a lot of writing and it's making my eyes go funny trying to make it out. Seems a lot of text for probate. I can make out Elizabeth Bramall was Hobson, or that's what I'm guessing. A short explanation of what's been said would be greatly appreciated and maybe if it mentions date of death? Thanks in advance.
