Yes I 'm convinced that it is one and the same. Everything adds up except for that at the time of his first marriage, he claims to be from Amsterdam. Perhaps he just meant that he was living there. Either way, I was not able to find a birth for him in Amsterdam.

Oh well done!!  :o So that means her surname was Josephs and not Jacobs which would tie in with the son whom was called Joseph. According to this marriage certificate though, he is from Amsterdam. So there's the possibility that he is not the same one who married Roosje in 1801 who claims to be from Frankfurt?

According to his marriage certificate to Roosje, 23 January 1801, Salomon Aron was indeed from Frankfurt. Roosje hailed from Nimwegen (Nijmegen) More than likely this is where he may have maried Anaatje Jacobs.

Pity but thanks so much for your help Kay which is very much appreciated. Thank you. Would Myrtle cottage still exisit today? I've been all over a Hundleton pic site but didn't see it. Mind you not all the cottages are named. I'm also trying to find a road map.

That's definitely a start for sure and thank you so much. Are there any online newspapers perhaps? I'm bloomin' useless with U.K. genealogy. I'd love to find out how he died.

Yes that's him and thank you so much! Apparently Thomas died in 1923 "Death by accident." How would I go about finding out how he died? I don't have a month only the year. Any help very much appreciated.

I am looking for a Thomas Wogan Morris born ca: 1910 (perhaps a little earlier) who may or may not fit into my Morris and Wogan family trees. Last known address for him ca. 1923 was Myrtle Cottage, Hundleton. His parents may have been George Harris Morris and Sarah Jane Wogan. Many thanks in advance.

According to Google, " Jever is the capital of the district of Friesland in Lower Saxony, Germany. "
