Having had tremendous help tracing the daughter, I wonder if anyone could wave magic wand over the fate of her father? Alexander Fleming Richmond (born 1874 in Montrose Scotland). He moved to Canada and was in the Expeditionary force. He married, had 2 children. Wife died, kids went in to care. The last record I have for him is a possible border crossing from Canada to US, aged 47, saying he is going to live with his brother in New York. Trail goes cold. No death for him that I can find.

I have been searching for this ladies descendants for many years, and have recently had a bit of a breakthrough in finding her married name, and then subsequently her death in Port Townsend, Jefferson, Washington in 2002. I know that she had 2 children. I am really keen to find them, or their offspring and wondered if there is any way of finding her last address in Port Townsend in 2002? I have her social security number, and can apply for the record, but I'm not sure how useful it will be.
I have personal letters pertaining to this ladies past that her descendants would be keen to see.

Just to clarify, before I dig them out and scan them for you (can email them, or post them onto this site) the photos are as follows:
First one is of a class of 5 year olds taken in about 1934 and the others are of the same class taken over 4 or 5 subsequent occasions over a 10 year period (last one probably about 1944, or 15 year olds)

I am happy to post them, but my dad started in 1935/36 and the photos are all class photos, so I think your relatives would have left by the time my dad was going through the school?

Hi Delnoon,
I eventually found my Great Aunts death in the 1960's, so she survived the blitz afterall. What intrigued me about Wharncliffe Gardens is that there seems to have been 2 of them - was one built new after the wall to replace the initial one that was demolished?? In which case my Aunt probably lived in both as her death certificate has her still at Wharncliffe in the 60's, signed by a neighbour.
Nice to have contact about this after all this time,

I found a medal card for a Robert Richmond with the following numbers and regiments:
Royal Garrison Artillery - 47331
and Royal Field Artillery - 265571
The army service I know about was with the Hassars, but he could have signed up later with the RGA - many of his contempories did - being older men during the first world war.
Would be grateful if anyone could use these numbers to access any more info that you get from the medal card.
By the way his date of birth was 11 May 1879, he was Scottish from Dundee, but seemed to spend time in Hounslow.
