Free Photo Restoration & Date Old Photographs / Me & my Elder Brother
« on: Monday 23 November 20 20:54 GMT (UK)  »
Hi all
Wondered if anyone could do anything with this image. It's of me and my brother. Not long seen this and thought it would be nice if it was clearer. It's the only photo of us together in childhood and was taken 1959. We were always close untill our dad died in 1967 and we got seperated.

His been alone in isolation since march and thought it would be good to send him a copy so he know's his never alone. Would prefer it staying Black & White

Many Thanks

Loopylu

Hi Guys

Just received a photo by text message and seems very crumpled, I cannot get a clear image of the man in it.

It's off my late Uncle and Aunt, a man has approached me saying my uncle is his father, This is a real skeleton in the cupboard. As i or any family member i have contacted has never heard anything about him or his existence. This gentleman has sent me pictures when he was younger but i cannot be sure either way as the last time i ever saw my uncle i was 9 and on the day of my father's funeral. As you can accept my memory can be a little vague as it was 1967.

Northamptonshire / Re: Looking for John Hender Kings Sutton 1690-1731
« on: Wednesday 19 November 14 15:07 GMT (UK)  »
Thank you Pennie and mgeneas, came back from a Trip to Northampton last night.

I now have the Baptisms of John and Ann's children, the marriage of Grace to a Richard Temple of Evenly.

Also have the Burials of John & Ann, she was described as poor , so i got to see the parish poor book.

Also i found a Burial for an Elizabeth Hender, possible mother of John, but there are no settlement records for this surname although there are for Henson, wondering if i have another name change.

Thank you both for your help seems i need to join Northamptonshire fhs and get a sub to FindMyPast.

Dis find some Baptisms for John Hender in Wiltshire from the free weekend on FindMyPast, so further investigation required.

I'm thinking this Elizabeth may have come from Kings Sutton and was sent back after possible death of her Husband.

Looking to get to Oxford Ro ASAP before they close for refurb later this month.

Again many thanks for both your help.
