Family History Beginners Board / Locating a Death
« on: Wednesday 22 September 10 22:07 BST (UK)  »
Were all deaths in the period of 1840 to 1851 London,, & Middlesex  input into the Church records?
I have been trying to locate my Grt, Grt Grandmothers death ,and there are too many churches to search. The BMD show 3 + with the same name and upon ordering cert (without age showing on the BMD, the wrong cert was received. This is costly to keep ordering certificates-Do you have sugestions or able to aide me in my search? Thank you.

Thank you for the update-I will be on holidays for a week but when I return, will check some sites and get back to you. FYI-From Brantford to Montreal is about 9 hours (today)from Brantford. In early 1900's people would have to take the train from Ontario to Montreal, Quebec. This would be the closest port for departing/incomming passengers. The time would be longer. To get perspective try google maps.
