Lancashire Lookup Requests / 1841/1851 Trawden/Colne

I am looking for John Aldersley who on the  1861 claims to be born 1774 Colne Lancashire

His daughter Ann was born between 1799 and 1805 Trawden Lancashire

This is all the info I have on this family.

Have not got a positive match for either of them on the IGI

Where is the nearest Prison to Longtown?

Can anyone obtain prisoners records?

I have an ancestor who did six months hard labor for manslaughter he murdered the enumerator! I need to verify if he is my man.

Any thoughts welcome.

I am Looking for Septuas Wood Born approx 1791 Ilkley

She is alive in 1861 as a Widower living in Burley, Coronation Row down on the census as Septimus

My 1841 Discs do not appear to cover Burley in Wharfedale.

Her child Thomas Wood was born 1825 in Asquith or Askwith near Otley

Any help on this one appreciated sorry this is all the info I have so far as I can't find her on the 1851

I am trying to find out if Richard had brothers and sisters and of course parents.

I have looked at the IGI and can't find a birth close enough to 1801 to be a conclusive match to my Richard.

I did find a marriage for 1822 for Richard Kitson and Mary Beaumont in Halifax which seems to fit as their daughter Frances was born later that year.

Every time I look at this line I come to a dead end any thoughts or suggestions please.
