Thank you that looks good, the father is correct 'Michael McGrath'.  Can you make out what the address is for James?  Rockeberry?!?

Is this the marriage of Bridget and James - 1907, Ballybrack parish

James’ father is Patrick by the looks of it.

Yes I created this.

More Hayes names here - the same grave and McGrath details

I think this is your information, Paul.

Hi, I created these entries in FindAGrave today.
I'll make note to include this detail in my original question next time :-)
thanks
Paul

Can you advise on the graveyard location of your Hayes headstone and the year dates of each death?

Cork / Hayes of Mitchelstown - related to McGrath
« on: Monday 02 October 23 11:37 BST (UK)  »
Hi everyone
  I've a new connection to my family in Mitchelstown.  I was never able to track down my great grand aunt Bridget McGrath but I visited the family plot for the first time on Friday 29th Sep 23 and found her name on a stone attached to the side along with Doreen Hayes & Jimmy Hayes and her husband, their son, James Hayes.

Does anyone know about the Hayes in Mitchelstown?

Thanks
Paul

Antrim / Re: Help: Carrickfergus Irish Genealogy civil search district?

Wow that is really useful, I've not seen that site before.
Thank you
BW
Paul

Carrickfergus is under Larne registration district. Here's the site I use to search registration districts-
https://www.swilson.info/regdistmap.php

If you search for car*y (surname) and Larne (district) there are-
births= 248
marriages= 127
deaths= 63
This will include names like Carley, etc.

Doing a narrower search for 'cary' gives only a few results but 'carry' a lot more.

You could try Larne.

Thanks for the quick reply.  I've tried Larne and Carey/Carrey/Cary/Carry is not common and I'd expect dozens if not hundreds of returns.  I think it'll be Belfast :-(

Good morning,
  I was wondering if someone could help me narrow down the correct registration district/office for Carrickfergus on the Irish Genealogy website?  there isn't a Carrickfergus on it and the nearest place seems to be Belfast.  Is this the right option?  I hope not as it will be a needle in a haystack!
thanks
Paul
