Hi All, hoping someone can help me find details of the marriage and deaths of Elizabeth Kate Colley (b 1898 Marlborough,Wiltshire) and her husband Walter Ecclestone . I am told they lived in Leyland, Lancashire and had 1 son. Free BMD and Ancestry dont show up any results,

Wiltshire / Maria DOEL 1856 death Warminster

Hi all, i am hoping someone can help me with details of this ladys death. I am seeking the 1st wife of James Doel she married him in Frome in 1852 her maiden name was Maria Cosh .There is 2 possible women  who both fit the puzzle, this Maria in Warminster and 1 in Portsea ( James did work there!!) It seems he married her sister Emma Cosh a year later !! love to know which 1 is the right lady, regards Scott

Thanks Wendy        yes i have these details ,its finding out which Maria Dole (Doel) is the relative who died in 1856 i am having trouble with. Theres a fem in Warminster and in Portsea with same name , both these areas could of been possibility's !! hopefully someone could tell me more details of the deceased and link to my tree, regards Scott

Hi all, I am hoping someone can confirm the age and family details of this lady.My relative James Doel  (Dole) 1st wife was Maria Dole(nee Cosh) married in 1852 Frome Somerset. BMD shows this lady in Portsea died in 1856 and there is a Maria Doel in Warminster Wiltshire  ( close to Frome) who died same year. I do know James spent time in Portsea and after his wifes death  married her sister in 1857 (Emma Cosh) in Frome Somerset.Love to find which one was his wife and how she died. Regards Scott

Yes ,i have this information . When you mentioned his name (James Treleaven Doel ) i knew it was the right family. I now have penciled in the family tree.   Many Thanks Evie

Hi Jo,
 checking the 1841 census transcribed on the internet for 1841 its shown as Plaguey House, Richard,Ann,James. Also  Elizabeth & Alfred Ashby.James Trevalen does tie in with nicely with  findings so many thanks to you !  In 1861 census hes in Frome and then 1871 moved his family to Portsea.Looks like you have found something new ,Shepton Mallett is a town 12 miles away from Frome.

Many thanks to you all, i read it as James Doel son,his mother & father was Richard & Hannah(Anna) and grandfather also Richard & 2nd wife Karen Happuch Doel ( her name before was Baker)

Just wondered, on your 1841 census was James put down as son or grandson .1851 he was grandson.

Thanks,, very confusing just lke her son James Doel, finding him through the census returns but no date for his death!!
