Brilliant, thank you.  In the top corners there are dark bits because the newspaper was sellotaped into an album.  Is it possible to clean these bits up please.

restore this picture to what it would have looked like in 1972 ie black and white.

I do not want colour added to it at all.

John Hague died in 1901 and his wife Mary is believed to be buried in approx 1885.

Wow, Thanks for all your replies.

I have now found on the net that it is a GSM 1962 and I had even noticed the clasp.

We did live in Northern Ireland.

I have someone hopefuly looking for details of his mention in dispatches.
