Be aware that on a World War I death certificate that there is no information that is not included on the Commonwealth War Graves site.
I ordered certificates hoping that they would give info on next of kin etc. and it isn't on there.

Well Gaie your fantasy came true for me. I was in England last year and was taking photos of the houses of my ancestors. There was a man talking to his neighbour over the front fence of the house I wanted to take photos of. I asked him if it was OK for me to take pictures and explained that this was the house that my Father had been born in. He asked me in a gave me tea, followed by a tour of the house. No I didn't get any treasures out of the attic but it was still awesome.

I'm looking for any information on my cousin Bernard Yates who flew with 10 Squadron RAF Melbourne (Yorkshire) and was killed on Boxing Day, 1944 returning from a raid on St Vith.

I've got the marriage record from the Avoch parish records. It says Isabel More is from Strath. The only Strath I can find is over on the other coast, does anyone know if there is a Strath anywhere near Avoch.
