Not sure where my ancestors came from in Ireland,
But does anyone have any info on a Thomas Lindsay/Jane Ker
They had a son Matthew born in Ireland  abt 1818.

Would be grateful for any info.

Mary

Oh Dear.

Mary I assume you posted this in Co. Antrim.  I wonder why as you do not know the locality from whence your ancestors came in Ireland. There is no harm in your posting being on the Co. Antrim board but many more people may read it on the Ireland General board. Start by looking at Kers and Lindsays in the Griffiths site http://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths.php then go to http://scripts.ireland.com/ancestor/surname/index.cfm where there are spaces for two names allowing a cross check of parishes to see where both names existed.  I have just done the cross check - both names were in Counties Antrim and Down. They were also in Dublin City.

Best Wishes, Chris

Hello Chris
Have looked at one site there are so many Thomas Reid's I wouldn't know
who was who, In 1868 he was a soldier on the Marriage Cert of his son.

Any ideas?

Thanks
