Hello again Marc,

I thought that Aaron was the son of Joseph Kittier and Jane Cooke and was born about 1723 in Boldre. However, I am waiting for my copies of the fiche to come from Hants Record Office. So obviously at the moment I'm not certain.

The son William 1753 that you mention is my direct line.

I had 6 other children for Aaron and Sarah.
Melior
Mary
Thomas
Sarah
Anne
Evan

Is any of this ringing a bell for you? Where do Aaron and Sarah fit into your tree?

From NFHS transcript of the 1841 census;

16-11  851  KITCHER  James      30       83204  Banks Yd  1  Ostler      N     EAST RETFORD  ERE
16-11  851  KITCHER  Elizabeth      30   83205  Banks Yd                 N     EAST RETFORD  ERE
16-11  851  KITCHER  George     8m       83206  Banks Yd                 Y     EAST RETFORD  ERE
16-11  851  BARRATT  Millicent      60   83207  Banks Yd     Nurse       N     EAST RETFORD  ERE

No Kittier found in the 1841.
None of Kitcher or Kittier found in the NFHS Burials, Baptisms or Marriages.
They are not complete though, If you visit the NFHS website they have a chart which tells you which parish's are covered.

Steve.

Thanks for this Steve, you are working like a trooper!

Hi Amy, Kitcher/ Kittier none in the 1851,1871, Nottinghamshire Census.

Hi Amy,
I know of a lady who researchers Kitcher in New Forest. I will send her your details of your website. She should be help you futher.

I have comyn's book which lists Kitcher family 17 times for the date of 1817.

If I get time I'll send them on to you. when I was researching House family during early 1990's in the Census there was a lot of Kitcherfamily in all the Census for the New Forest. So that should keep you busy.

House - Brockenhurst, Rockbourne, Newbury, Thatcham 1500-1850's.
O'Toole - Dublin and Newcastles upon Tyne.
