I'm trying to locate any information on William John of Cymmer Afan. He was a mining engineer, amateur historian & a geologist. His wife Selina died giving birth to my Grandmother Martha. He then remarried. He died in 1947 & we do not know where he is buried or if we have any surviving relatives.

Do you know anything more about William John, where he was born perhaps? How old was he when he died - that give us something to work on - we might be able to find him in the 1901 census for example and work back from there
