The nearest date to 1798 I have found for a Sarah is 22 June 1806  Sarah Grub  d of Mary.
The previous date would have been 20 May 1764 Sarah Grubb d of Wm.
Not very helpfull I'm afraid.
There are 64 entries for the name of Grub/Grubb/Grube/Grubbe in the baptisms and 23 in the burials transcripts. Unfortunately I don't have the marriages.
Some of the entries give more information than others.

Dear Lizzie,

Thank you for taking the time to look.

Another brickwall then! unless she wanted to appear older for some reason.

Best Wishes

Where did you get the year 1798 from. If it was from a Census the ages were sometimes done in multiples of 5 years ie 30.35.40.45 etc.

Dear Lizzie,

Yes I got it from the 1851 census where she is shown with her husband, her base child, their children and her mother living in Newbury,Berkshire.

I thought it was only the 1841 that was rounded up but with census you learn a new trick every day.

Best Wishes
