First of all I would like to thank you both for your help!

Thank you so much for what you found ..... the really annoying thing is, is that I've had Louisa Morgan (who is my gggrandads daughter) on the 1881 census for ages, just never made the connection to the next door neighbours!

One thing I must tell you ........ something your findings has dug up, is that Christopher Morgan's (gggrandad) son Christopher, married a Sarah Evans, which I now discover is his Cousin! (I think thats allowed ..... isn't it?)

Thank you for your pointer to this site. I have come across it before, but just dismissed that entry because at the moment I haven't come across a Philip ...... but I will look further into it now, as gggrandad Christopher did have a sister called Elizabeth, so she may have married someone of the same surname.

All in all, I don't think much will get done today!!

Rather a long way from his likely parents
