Post war memories
« on: Friday 28 October 05 08:34 BST (UK) »
Hi Folks,
My daughter, fresh from the Royal Infirmary with a stookie (finger tries to stop 40mph basketball) has an essay to do for school on

'Post-war memories circa 1945/6 in the UK...through a child's eyes, and/or that of their relatives'

This is to be from first hand accounts.  I condescendingly informed her that I knew of such a place where  the wisdom of Solomon would be at a disadvantage ;D
It would be terrific, if you have a spare 5 mins today or over the weekend, and would like to delight us all in the process, to weave your golden tapestry's and wax lyrical ::).  The criteria is to 'keep it short and upbeat'  In the terms of the Advertising Standards Authority, please keep it clean decent honest and truthful >:(....however, I'm sure a few stray shots would go down very, very well. ;D ;D

Many thanks in anticipation, and I hope that some kind Administrator will place this plea on other boards ;)
