I need someone to have a look at records from the following places
an aunt of mine was taken into care after  encephalitis she ended up very impaired like a 3 year old she was a twin her twin brother was killed in action in the second world war  this story has only just come to light after deaths in the family this would probably taken place in the 1920's this is just a guess.
Pontypridd Union,Bridgend asylum, Hensol castle institute are places that have been mentioned to me. Sarah was living in Caephily at the time she was taken ill.any leads or information will be appreciated regards PAM

I worked in Hensol Castle prior to it closing in 2004. I'm not sure which census records would cover it but I will ask around and see what I can find for you.
