Many thanks for your trouble but I'm afraid this is not the family.

Geoff

Hi Geoff,

Found these baptisms in Warminster, not sure how many of them you already have:

Harriet 14 Jun 1807
William 23 Apr 1809
Elizabeth 14 Jul 1811
Mary  29 Dec 1813
John 4 Feb 1816
Jane 22 Mar 1818
George 10 Dec 1820

John Sly, son of Edward Sly married Sarah Brown 27 Feb 1838 Warminster

George Sly, son of Edward Sly married Susannah Ryall (aged only 18) 11 Apr 1843 Warminster

There is a family in Warminster in 1851, John Price and Eliza

And the next schedule (108) has the following:

Edward Sly 63 Coal Hauler b Warminster
?Mary Sly 65 Domestic Duties b Warminster
Henry King 4 Grandson
James Alwood or Atwood 65 Millers Man b ?Wells Somerset

Please check the original if possible, for further details.

If you think this might be your family, let me know and I'll look a bit further.

Nell

PS I think I've also found John Sly and George SLy in 1851

Hello Nell,
Many thanks for your trouble. I do actually have most of the records you have found and am sure that Eliza married to John Price is the Elizabeth baptised on 14/7/1811 but would obviously like to be 100% sure. I can find no other Eliza/Elizabeth that looks likely though.Any information you can find would be most welcome.
Regards,
Geoff.
