hI there and welcome to Rootschat,
If this is of interest to you a Samuel Langford of Roseville Cottage, Roseville Street, St Helier, born 16/02/1881, legal guardian of William Hixon lived there during the war as The Jersey Archive Center has their registration details as required during the war. If it is a house history you are interested in then the center has an amazing collection and full details of property on the island such as age, ownership etc.
See my link to their website  as on a previous posting.

Thanks for checking. I had found the entry on Samuel Langford and also looked at the site you mention but couldnt find anything further. I was hoping to be able to get more information online but it looks like I'll have to go to the archive centre

Thanks again
