Gerrard family of Great Boughton, Chester - COMPLETED
« on: Sunday 30 October 05 18:48 GMT (UK) »
:) Please does anyone have any information on this family ?  I have got back as far as William Gerrard's marriage to Elizabeth Salisbury on 16 April 1849.  At the time they were probably living in Stocks Lane, Gt Boughton, Chester.

Thank you for the welcome :)!  I have traced the family back as far as the 1861 census - but have yet to track down any earlier records.

Thank you so much Nessie  ;D.  I didn't expect such a quick result.  I shall now go on to search out the earlier records.

HEllo, I have Gerrards in my family tree, they are from Handbridge, Chester. Do you know if yhour Gerrards from Stocks Lane (which is just around the corner from where I live) had relatives in Handbridge.
Many thanks
Esther :)

Hello Esther
Thank you for your message.  It is possible that at one time there was a link between the Gerrards of Great Boughton and those living in Handbridge - but certainly back to 1841 there doesn't seem to be any direct link.  Although, someone else may know better!  Best wishes, Anne  :)
