Has anyone heard of Whitwell or Kiplington, i have found my g g grandfather, on the census, it says that he was born in Whitwell, i have never heard of it, could anybody please help

Looking on autoroute, there is a Whitwell to the east of Catterick, couldn't find a Kiplington though (also several other Whitwells in different counties)
