Hi Sarah,
Yes, I have been known to use Flintshire RO from time to time......and I'll be going next week if they'll have me.
It is user friendly the staff are great and nothing is too much trouble for them.
You should try and get there yourself sometime and save me from looking for Woodwards. LOL. and to prove I'm only
joking I will find you some Goodwin's next week.

Paul.

Hi Paul

I can sell you some Woodwards if you want...plenty of unknowns going cheap!!!  LOL

I've never visited a RO before so think I'll take the plunge as it's no far from me here in Nantwich and combine it with a stop-off in Mold at my parents!!

Look forward to any Goodwin news next week!!

I also have a couple of Goodwins marrying some of my Woodwards and Morrlles/Moralees..............but that's another story!!!!  ;D ........wouldn't want to send you over the edge!!!!....LOL

Many Thanks again!!

Sarah :)

I think we're on to something here another marriage I found today.
Mold  Aug 7 1866.
Robert Edwards Fullage Collier. Mold. Father Robert. Ostler
Sarah Morallee Fullage. Mold. Father James. Collier.
Witnesses. Mary Edwards and John Jones.

I think we might be in danger of finding out you are related to half the population of Mold.

Paul.

Hi Paul

LOL.....probably........maybe somewhere the family motto is "we are Mold"!!!!!  ;D

That marriage could well be mine.....as.....

In 1851 I have a Sarah Moralee b.1848, father James a coal-miner b.1805 Newcastle,Northumberland.

Gap in 1861.....as you know most of Flintshire and Denbighshire wiped out!!!!!

1871.....Living back with her mother Pheobe Moralee b.1803 Mold (wid) as Sarah Edwards (wid) and 2 children Edward Edwards 3 and Elizabeth 1.

.............and Phoebe was a Goodwin before she married James!!!!!........

.....a very tangled web!!!  ;D

Hello Kate,
Flint Burials.
30 May 1863. Catherine Lloyd. Abode Holyhead. age 24 years.
15 Jan 1875. Sarah Lloyd. Flint. age 59 years.
6 Oct 1882.Thomas Lloyd. Flint. age 69 years.
Don't know if they are buried in the same grave, you will need grave records for that.

I have the baptisms of Thomas and Sarah and their nine children, if you don't have them already.

Paul.

Hi Paul

I wonder if you could do me a look up for a baptism next time you go and if you have the time.

It is for Edward Griffiths born 1794 Hope Flintshire, I don't think the date will be far out, you found me Edwards burial and I sent for the certificate and the his age at death  is 75 years.

Thanking you Paul.

Ann
