Does anyone know what the local paper would be for Hope Flintshire that would have obituary's printed in for 1800 to 1900 please.

Hope is nearer to Wrexham than Chester and I would check with Wrexham Archives on 01978 317973. It then depends on the exact year as papers came and went. I think there are 4 possibles including the Wrexham Leader and Wrexham Advertiser. I would however also check with Flintshire Archives 01244 532364.
Incidentally there is a local expression:
'live in Hope and die and Caergrwle' (just up the road)
