Mountney-Watts - Marriage

Trying to trace the marriage between Edward Mountney and Rose ( Anna) Watts  who had a daughter Marjory or Marjorie( my late mother) on 14th January 1923 at 81 Sandy Lane, Aston Manor.  Her sister Vera was born approx 1920/21. Can find no clearly identifiable record of either Edward or Rose in 1901 census ... though one or two possible candidates! Nor could we find any record of the marriage in the "1837 online" records either.  But we might have missed it.

There are no surviving members of my mother's family apart from my cousins, who know as little as I do about the origins of their mother or mine.
