« on: Thursday 03 November 05 11:52 GMT (UK) »
Alfred George Gray, his wife Frances Bertha and daughter Ivy emigrated to Canada. I have found their passenger details, they travelled on 04/03/1927. Cany anyone help peice together their story after this ?

Have you got a copy of the passenger list from the National Archives? That should  give more details including:

# the name and address of the relative, friend or employer to whom they were destined; and
# name and address of the nearest relative in the country from whence they came

I think they might have gone to BC: this record seems to be about the right age for Alfred George Gray:

http://www.ei-ae.gc.ca/policy/appeals/cubs/0-10000/1000-1999/1027e.html
(in 1954 he was 64, married).

There's a possible death for Alfred George Gray in North Vancouver, BC, 1972 8 17 (Yr/Mo/Day) aged 83.

www.collectionscanada.ca - look at the Archives, where they have the 1925-1935 ship records.  There are instructions on there for ordering copies.  I haven't ever gotten ship records but I have sent away for other photocopies from there and it's not too expensive and reasonably quick.

For the BC records:
