I am trying to find a marriage for my ancestor John Tolhurst to Sarah some time before 1823 but probably not much before. I can't find her surname and would like to be able to move back a bit further on this side. If anyone could help it would be much appreciated.
The information I have is: John and Sarah are the parents of Frances Elizabeth (my 3rd great-grandmother) and Sarah Lydia. Frances was christened in 1823 and Sarah in 1825, both in Offham.
The only marriage I could see on IGI was in 1804 which doesn't sound right to me. I would assume that they were married around the early 1820's unless there are other children not listed on IGI.
