still need help with edwards birth place

i am still needing help to find david john edwards, i am not 100% sure when he was born any more as the david edwards i have looked up all  born in 1877 do not tally, which was when i was lead to believe he was born , i have looked up aberdare and all in pembroke but still cant find him. All i know is that he married my gt gran matilda goff (gough) in 1903 in the parish of ystradyfodwg at the age of 25 (not sure about that being correct), and died in 1950 in aberdare, some of the family say he is from pembroke, rhonnda,or aberdare, please, please, please,
can some one help me find him

I have tried to look, but there are many David John Edwards in Wales/Glamorgan.  I think the only way you can be sure who is yours is to get the marriage cert.  You will then know their father's names, ages, addresses, marriage place, witnesses etc... and have something to work with.

Marriage - Gough, Matilda - Edwards, David John

March Qtr / 1903 / Pontypridd / Vol: 11a / Pge 589 

£7.00 from the GRO online (you will need to register and have credit card) or from the local registry office Pontypridd.  (Google for address)

I have found Matilda on the 1901 with her widowed mother and brother, let me know if you need this.  I have also found a David John born Ystradfodwg 1881 that seems a possible, but there is no way you can clarify without the cert/father's name.

Ystradfodwg Parish is an old name for the Rhondda Valley

hi cas, i have since found out this morning that david johns father was called james, thanks for having a look for him for me, my gt grandad is giving me so many headaches, i really need to find him now
