Where was "Teleby", in Stokesley area in 1760's, 1770's?

Hi, Everyone,
Would anyone with local knowledge of the Stokesley area of North Yorkshire know of a place, or possibly building, called "Teleby", which was associated with the early days of my gt-gt-gt-gt-grandfather John KERSHAW's life.  He was born in 1766 in Stokesley, and in an account of his early life in a database of Methodist Ministers, the place "Teleby" is mentioned.
Googling this word draws a blank, and I cannot find it on a modern map...
Very best wishes,
Keith

Sorry,
I've just come across a cross-reference for the place I have been seaching for, and although it is phonetically the same, the new spelling I have found says:"Tealby", which I notice is a place in Lincolnshire; this would in fact be perfectly plausible in terms of what little I have gathered so far about my KERSHAW itinerant Methodist Ministers!   I must now focus my search there...
