Hi Miriam, Some libraries keep records of houses.
Our library does. Perhaps if you contacted the library in the area where the house was they may be able to help you.

Miriam. Have you thought of writing to the local paper in that area? Someone suggested this when I wondered if the old house I was born in in 1923 still existed. Its worth a try. Good luck anyway. Louisa
