1841 census lookup Selby

I don't have an address, but Elizabeth Ann STEELS was born to William & Ann on 19th March 1941 in Selby so should creep into the 1841 census. Would anyone be able to check the full entry for me please? I should make it clear that I have also seen the name written down as STEELE, but have seen an IGI entry for Elizabeth's baptism spelled STEELS.

If Selby in 1841 was too big for this check to be made without an address, I will understand. Thanks in advance.

Might be your man is the Witness for his brother?

Is the family your looking for from Blacktofy.  There are pr's for Scalby.  Could this be the same place as Selby?  I am not too good with English geography yet!

Thanks for the look up. It is certainly a possibility as Hessle is not too far from Selby. I have picked up a few entries for various William Steels in IGI in the general area, which may all relate to the same person (IGI entries not always being accurate) or the family lived there for generations and used William commonly. One of these days I will try to visit the area and check the records for myself, but unfortunately I live four hours drive away, so it needs to be carefully planned.
