I have this old picture of my GG Grandfathers brother and his wife.

Charles was bornb 1854 so the photo is pretty old. They married in 1889.

Also would anyone know the uniform he is wearing?

I would really appreciate someone trying to improve this picture and if possible repairing the tear in it.

I hope the picture attaches ok.

Also, what uniform is it?
It might allow a good colour version, i see elements of Royal marinines(the belt) but I am not sure.

Man of Kent, with all your speeding I am surprised you have time to think about uniforms, but any help would be great.

I wil post under armed forces for identifying uniform

I only have a copy of this picture and all I have is the bit you can see at the bottom which looks like Victoria ??? and 295 Edgware
