Do you recognise this surname?

I've just got a birth certificate for Margaret Ann Darling, who MAY be an ancestor - still searching. Her father is Charles Darling a tailor.

I'm trying to read her mother's name. Her first name is Hannah, her former surname looks like Duosland. This doesn't sound right. The first letter is definitely a D. Then there's the bit I can't read - followed by osland.

Can anyone suggest a possible name?

Well, I managed to scan it onto my computer, but I can't find any way of attaching it to this message. I'm probably missing something obvious - but can anyone help?

Thanks - I was born in the days of manual typewriters, and computers still manage to beat me!
