Maidstone barracks?

Does anyone know if there are any surviving listings or info regarding regiments at Maidstone barracks in the early 19th century?
I am trying to trace the parents of Joseph Dunkley who was born in Maidstone c1805 but lived his life in Northampton (Dunkley is a Northants name).
I suspect his father may have been a soldier in the Northants Militia and that he was posted at Maidstone with his wife.
It's rather a long shot I know but perhaps someone can help?
