Haha, I'm back to school tomorrow ;D ;D

If William was in WW1 have you got his medal card?  It's available online, (easier if you know his number) from the national archives - more chance than his military record as only about 25% survived WW2 bombings - not to say his did not.....

If you have them in 1881 can we try to bring them forward thro the census, concentrating on the father?  It might we worth a post on the Glamorgan board stating the info from the 1881 Census and asking.

Hi Wendi ,
I have his medal card but it dose not say anything about him only where he was in the war ( FRANCE) i will try the Glamorgan site ,i found William in 1901 still in North Wales but i cannot find John his brother so i am still not sure it is the family ,i know where they are in 1907 but i still would like proof of their birthplace if only i could convince my self its them ,there is no family left to help , so i plod on  i hope Kew will help
                        Regards Mrs Griff
