Do you mean Staines (now Surrey, previously Middlesex)?  If so, you would probably do better on either of those counties boards.

However, I had a quick look at FreeBMD, which has the following entry:

Marriages - Sep 1862
Brown, William Whitehouse - Staines - Vol 3a - page 5

There doesn't seem to be any other names listed on the page, so you would probably have to order the certificate.
