I thought I was an Airey Descendant My Grandmother was Eleanor Airey. Daughter of Thomas Lee Airey b1880 and Eleanor Dover. Thomas Lee's mother was Elizabeth Aireyb1840  (neeWillan) who married William Airey. However Thomas Lee's father was a Lodger called John Lee and William Airey had been dead for quite some time when Thomas was born. Interesting family though, Elizabeth was quite a character by the look of it.
