Hi Ray,

Thank you so much - here's a run down of what I need to find:-

Birth/Baptism of Jonathan Barker - Born 1823/24  Norwich.

  This is what I know:-

Father - Samuel Barker - Born approx 1790. (weaver)
  Mother - Ann - - -  Suffling or Suffield.

There is a marriage of a Samuel Barker who married Ann Suffling and a Samuel Barker who married Ann Suffield - both in 1807 in the Parish of Heigham Norwich.- Both marriages on the 25th. November 1807.
Do you think that they could be the same one and that there is a spelling mistake? It has to be Suffling or Suffield. - So the parish has to be Heigham.

Regards   Rosemary

Osmond - Somerset/Dorset. Wheeler - Berkshire/Hampshire. Benham - Berkshire. Barker - Norfolk. Metcalf - Norfolk. Cordwell - Norfolk. Prentice - Suffolk. Farrow - Suffolk.

Hi Rosemary
ref Samuel Barker
Heigham ward has 4 churches
Holy Trinty,
St Philips,
St Thomas
St Bartholomew
The marr of Samuel & Ann Suffield(Suffling )1807 was at St Bartholomew,Most Church Records for St Bartholomew were lost during WW11,(Fire )But the other Churches are on Microfilm
When I go to the Nro I will try and see if I can find the Marriage first,as they might be in the Bishops Transcripes??.
But as your Samuel was born several years after the marr he could be any where,But will look at Heigham Ward the best i can
covering the records that are avalible
