Haven't found any trace of Catherine and W H in the 1900 census, but think I've found Sarah E with dau Victoria in Norwich , Ct---Genealiza

1900 Ct., New London, Norwich
Series T623   Roll 149   Page 243

19 High Street    Dwell #244   Family #303
Rogers, Sarah E, head, white, female, Jul, 1844, 53, widow,
mother of 3 children/2 living, Eng, Eng, Eng,
immig 1850, 50yrs in US, can read, write, spk
                   English, rents home
Blicyrre (Blicyne)?, Victoria, dau, white, female, Feb 1872,
28, widow, mother of 1 child/1 living, Ct, Eng,
Eng, bell maker, can read, write, spk English
Corey, John, boarder, white, male, Oct 1870, 29, single,
Ct., Ct, Ct, machinist, can read, write, spk Eng
Popple, Louise, grandau, white, female, Mar 1890, 9 single,
Ct., Ct., Ct., attended school 10 months, can
                   read, write, spk English

My index says she's there in 1910, but the census is not readable (can't read the name).  What is readable says that she is 65, born England,  the mother of 7 children/1 living, she is living on High St, has 3 boarders, and rents her home.

Do you have Wm Chenery and Catherine in 1870?  They are living with the John and Sarah Gallington family, along with Julia Whalley (10).  Let me know if you want this one transcribed.

Thankyou for the lookup. The daughter Victoria married Charles Popple, who has obviously died but perhaps she married again, her surname is odd - doesn't look like Popple even.

Thank you, I have the 1879 entry.

I was keen also to get 1890 but evidently this census is not available.
Louise married  Harry Armstrong sometime between 1900 and 1910. Are you able to find her. Are Catherine and William in the 1910 census ? I might just check the 1901 UK census in case they returned to England.

Thanks

Greatselection Thank you.
No wonder you had problems with William when the name is spelt different - neverseen william like that. I loke the 1930 census where Harry has a radio - I wonder if they ask about Tvs DVDs etc in today's census.

Thank you again for all your assistance
