Hi folks,
            I'm going to the GRO in Edinburgh next week.  I will have a little time to peek at some things for you.  Please let me know asap what you're looking for so I can assess it before I go.

It will be confined to Census, BDM records only though.

If you let me know on THIS board with a simple reply message of "ME  " I'll get back to you....promise.  This makes it fair with folk who would be trying to write down a request and get pipped at the proverbial.  One item per person, and the first 5 (five) requests will be attended to by virtue of the enormously difficult return 'Reply #1' etc....even with that I find it hard going

Me!!

I'm looking for Peter Garrow (aged about 78) on the 1851 census.
On the 1841 one he was at Castle St Or Balvenie St, Mortlach-Banffshire.
He died in 1860 in Dufftown Morlach so should still have been in the general area.
His wife was called Jane and was still alive then too
