ACKUS, ARMSTRONG, BOWLES & BARNSLEY in Stirling, Ontario

When my uncle made his will in 1956, he left legacies to Mrs June Ackus, Mrs Gladys Armstrong, Amy Bowles and Pamela Barnsley - all in Stirling Ontario.

I would like to find out whether these are family members.

Can anyone suggest how I might find out who these people are?

Stirling is a very small town in eastern Ontario. I'd write to the local library and tell them the details and ask if they can help. They should have phone books, they might even know someone still in Stirling who's related.
