Here he is in 1841 in Myddfai address Dolgarreg in the Outhouse Evan Davies/15/Ag Lab/Y with him 2 other Ag Labs William Francis and William Morris age 12.Two Streets away at Banky?Daniel Davies/45/Ag Lab/Y.Catherine Davies/45/Y.Esther Davies/12/Y.Ruth Davies/9/Y.And heres their marriage Daniel Davies Llangadock married Catherine Roderick on 01/12/1826 at Mothvey Parish .Best Wishes Welsh Lady.

Is the address  'Bankyrywen' - as on the 1851?

Would it be possible for you or sks to look up any Roderick's in Mothvey/Myddfai, possibly Catherine's parents/Siblings for me ?  Will give me something to work with.

Myddfai parish church baptisms
Evan Davies son of Daniel and Catherine Davies baptised 30/3/1827, father's occupation: Labourer abode: Lletty'rywen un Waungid (spelling may be slightly out)
Esther Davies dau of Daniel and Catherine Davies baptised 25/2/1830, father's occupation: Farmer abode: Bancyr ywen.
Ruth Davies dau of Daniel and Catherine Davies baptised 4/1/1833, father's occupation: Labourer abode: Pontyrywen
Checked up to 1840 no further baptisms for this family.

Banns
Daniel Davies of the parish of Llangadock and Catherine Roderick of this Parish published on 3 sundays written 22/10/1826, 29/10/1826 and 5/11/1826.
Marriage
Daniel Davies of the parish of Llangadock, bachelor and Catherine Roderick of this parish, spinster were married in this church by banns 1/12/1826. Both made their mark (names were written for them). Witnesses were David Thomas and Wm Jones.

There is nothing in Pencarreg or Llangadock parish baptisms for Daniel as welsh lady says!
There are no non conformist registers in the time frame for Daniel.

Although there were no baptisms for Catherine Roderick/Rhydderch in Myddfai/Mothvey it would indicate fom her marriage that she was from that parish!! The only thing i could find which may fit in the Myddfai baptisms was:

Catherine dau of Benjamin baptised 20/5/1798. The surname has been omitted from the original register (silly vicar) but it was the only one which i could find which couldn't be confirmed as not being her!! It may prove the one you never know.
