help needed to date a photo

hi i have not got my scanner working at the moment but have an old photo which i know nothing about

i was thinking if i knew the dates the cmpany was around then i might be able to put a name to the face so on the back of the photo / card it says

caleb c smith
norman place
lincoln

portraits painted
atistic phoographs
& enlargements

futher copies of this carte can always behad or it can be enlarged to any size & beautifully finished

if you have any indication as to when this company was in buisnes i would be verry gratefull regards wileman 121
