Marriage cert. lookup help !!

Hello, 

Need some assistance on how to find a marriage cert. for my GG Grandparents in Ireland. Thomas Mullen and Elizabeth Donnelly were married in Dungannon on Oct 8 1885.
Relatively new to this link but think it's great.

I don't know if Dungannon is Eire or N Ireland.  With similar info for n Ireland (or lack of it) I phoned the registry office in Balfast, gave names and date and approx place of marriage  and credit card number and lo and behold within a week I had a marriage cert. 

It won't always work because so many records were destroyed by fire in 1922, but well worrth price of a phone call (or letter or email if you are too far away.)  Do a google search for Dublin + registrary office or belfast+ registry office and you are sure to find contact details.

Go to http://www.groireland.ie/apply_for_a_cert.htm

and download/print off the marriage cert application form.

Then just post it off to the new address in Roscommon (not Dublin).

As you seem to have all the info needed there's a good chance you will get your cert - lately they've been taking about 4/5 weeks. Make sure you order the Full or Long copy as that is the one with all the info about parents etc.

As you have names, location, date, you should be able to get certificate from the local Dungannon Registrars Office:
