Murphy

I have found my Mary Murphy on the 1851 census in England. The English enumerator has stated that she was born in Talla, Co Carlow and her husband James Kavanagh was born in Loughlin, Co Carlow (which I know to be Leighlin). Does Talla exist or should it be Tullow? As she would have had an Irish accent I am wondering if the enumerator just spelt it wrong.

I have just checked Townslands and Parish listings for County Carlow. Talla does not exist, so its most certainly Tullow.
