I am trying to find the Duff family, one daughter, Margaret married John Bruce at Montrose,  2/5/1874.  Her sister, Ann (Gt Grandmother) married James Blyth in Montrose, 1863.

Hello Waikiwi, I suppose that you know that their parents were Peter Duff and Ann Keill?

The IGI has the following:

Margaret Duff born 11 JUN 1844 Montrose, Angus, Scotland
Isabel Duff Christened 25 JUL 1852 Montrose, Angus, Scotland
Betsy Duff born 06 JUL 1857 Montrose, Angus, Scotland
John Laird Duff born 23 NOV 1847 Montrose, Angus, Scotland
Andrew Neilson Duff born 27 FEB 1860 Montrose, Angus, Scotland
Peter Duff christened 26 MAY 1850 Montrose, Angus, Scotland
Robert Millar Duff born 13 JAN 1855 Montrose, Angus, Scotland
Jessy Duff christened 27 NOV 1842 Montrose, Angus, Scotland
Ann Duff christened 04 JUL 1840 Cargill, Perth, Scotland
Robert Duff christened 18 DEC 1837 Cargill, Perth, Scotland

I would check Robert Millar Duff born 1855 on ScotlandsPeople. 1855 are the best certificates for info - they have everything on.

Kia Ora, LindsaySiam, many thanks for your prompt reply.  I have all the data on the Duff family, so far I haven't been able to track any one of the family down.  Ann Duff married James Blyth in Montrose, 1863 and immigrated to New Zealand in the same year.  Thanks again for your interest.

Good morning, LindsaySiam, I guess 'tracking them down' is a Kiwi was of saying 'finding out more'.  Why I am trying to find out more about the Duff family, is that Ann Duff was my Gt Grandmother and I did not know of her existance until about two years ago.  She arrived in N.Z.1863 and died in 1874.  I thought maybe that some of her brothers and sisters families could be around to shed some light about her.  I have her family listed under 'Duffs of Montrose' on this site.  Thanks again.

Hi Waikiwi, don't know if you know this .. when Robert Millar Duff died in 1922, in Montrose, his death was registered by his brother Andrew Neilson Duff of 31, Kings Mount, Birkenhead, England.
