Hi Roger

I cant promise when, but I will have a look at my fiche of Hook Norton parish registers to see what I can find for either surname.

Will also try all records that I have just in case

Hi patricia,

I looked at my fiches for Hook Norton on Sunday but could not find any record of Thomas Owen's bap, however I did find his Mar which you already know about so I wont repeat it (if you don't have the certificate I can let you know later who the witnesses were) - I also found his son's bap

20 APR 1783 Thomas s/o Thomas/Susanah Owen

also a few Hartwell's baps that I came across

28 FEB 1750/51 Joan d/o John/Ruth Hartwell
12 JUL 1752 William s/o      "     "
26 OCT 1746 Ruth d/o         "     "
12 DEC 1742 Hannow d/o John Hartwell
15 NOV 1741 Mary d/o         "

Hook Norton MI's

In Loving Memory Of Clara A.R. Owen beloved wife of Samuel Owen who died June 15 1900 aged 44 years also of Samuel Owen who died June 8 1903 aged 47 years

I can also tell you that when Thomas & Susanah were married the entry said they were both of this parish but saying that I can find no tracwe of Susannah's bap either

I hope this helps you a bit

All the very best
