In 1871 they live at 40 Rowland Street,New Frodingham,Scunthorpe.
Sorry for asking for an 1881 search too but I simply can't find them on "Family search".

John James-son-born circa 1863-Derby or Bedford?
Israel-son-born 1866-Bedford
Georgina-daughter-born circa 1870-Frodingham,Lincs?
David,son-born circa 1872-Frodingham?

They may be in the Frodingham area .

For 1881 on LDS, try David SIMS, born Bedfordshire.

just had a look about and found Hannah Timms in the 1871 census for Frodingham , She is there with her children but no sign of the husband. it says that she is married.
David Timms 1871 was a Lodger in Carnforth, Lancashire. a boarder.
1901 David and Hannah were in Worsbourgh.Yorkshire. Could these be the ones you are looking for.
