Hi Seaman
Apologies for the delay.  This site doesn't let you know when someone has posted a reply and with so may names to research it can be a while getting round to each one again.  My Elizabeth Bowen was married in Harwich Essex in 1815 and born about 1795 in Swansea.  I have no definite proof as to her parentage.
Sound as though your Great Grandmother may have been born well after my Elizabeth so, unless you have links to both Harwich and Swansea I think the possibility of a link would be very poor.
Thanks for responding anyway. ;)

above is a quote from your post on the glamorganshire board, its happened to us all at some stage ,probably from looking through all those names and dates all the time, but it looks from this quote that your elizabeth bowen was married before she was born! :)
also you mention not being told of replies to your post,do you click the line at the top of each page that says 'show new replies to your post's?usually that feature of the site works for me.
