A repository was a storeroom but was also used in the context of the Catholic Church for a shop selling devotional items.  The gent in question could have been running a warehouse or shop while using the stock in his decorating! :-*
Godden in East Sussex, mainly Hastings area.
Richards in Lea, Gloucestershire, then London.
Williamson in Leith, Vickers in Nottingham.
Webb in Bildeston and Colchester.
Wesbroom in Kirby le Soken.
Ellington in Harwich.
Park, Palmer, Segar and Peartree in Kersey.

well that sounds right. other family members were carvers and masons. Catholic keeps cropping up but my father was always adamant that he wasnt a catholic. Are catholic records on the mormons igi site or is that a question for another board?
