hi folks i am having a problem finding amos george welch. his family that i knw of up to yet are wife- susannah nee papworth and son percy alwyn. percy was born in 1911 in aldercar heanor. vso any info would be great thanks

thanks it seems like amos is from another planet i cant find him on the census at all

There is a submitted entry to the IGi which indicates that he is the son of Amos and Mary Welch.
The 1881 census has them in Axminster,Devon if you look at www.familysearch.org

The most likely fit in the 1891 census is for an Amos born Axminster

thanks. this is the same as what i have found since starting this thread and i have also spoke to a few more relatives and two of them remeber grand speaking about family from either dorset or devon area so i think we are on the right track
